Pastoral Council and Finance Committee

Parish Council meetings are held quarterly. Finance committee meets two times a year.

Council of Catholic Parishioners (CCP)

The Council of Catholic Parishioners (CCP) meets on a quarterly basis. All people of the parish are members. As the Altar Society, the CCW is responsible for various events in the parish including Roll Sunday (held the first Sunday of each month, following Mass), Spring Fling Breakfast/Big Ticket Raffle held annually after Easter, Prayer Chain, Arts and Environment work, welcoming, parish needs, and much more.

Faith Formation

Generations of Faith Session planning is conducted on a monthly basis from September through May. Planning is centered around including all members and ages of the Parish. Parishioners and experts from around the area focus on educating our children and youth about the basics of our faith and allows adults to answer their questions about the Catholic faith, explain religious traditions and help them grow in their faith. Generations of Faith sessions are held six times per year from September through March.

Sacraments

Baptism
Parents may request the baptism of their infants by contacting Jean Meyer at jeanm@acegroup.cc or 507-482-6720.

First Confession & First Holy Communion
Second grade children and parents attend sessions together on Saturday mornings. The children celebrate the Sacrament of Reconciliation during Advent, followed by First Eucharist during the Easter season. There are three sessions to prepare for First Reconciliation in the Fall and four sessions to prepare for First Eucharist in the Spring. Confirmation
Youth begin preparing for Confirmation in the late Fall of ninth grade. They are assisted by parents during this phase. Confirmation is celebrated with the Bishop in the Spring of the tenth grade.
